Les Lauriers
In the middle of France, near Limoges and the town of Bellac, in the peaceful outskirts of the village of Sissac we will find our beautiful chambres d’hôtes: Les Lauriers. Les Lauriers is the place where you can take your loved one, family or friends to enjoy the tranquility and freedom of rural France. A place where the sun and the shade alternate playfully on a residence of over 7000 m2. Les Lauriers is situated in the rolling countryside of les Monts de Blond. On the private residence you will find our La Maison and La Maison de Maître, Les Lauriers
We offer four romantic guest rooms. Three rooms are located in La Maison de Maître and one garden room. All guest rooms are tidy and will offer you great comfort. La bibliothèque and la salle à manger are two charming rooms where you can enjoy reading a book, playing a game or having a drink and a good conversation. The residence has a lovely solar-panel-heated swimming pool and a wood-fired hot tub.
Every morning we serve the petit dejeuner with freshly baked bread and local delicacies. Naturally, the petit dejeuner is included in the price.
Table d’hôtes
We love to cook. We look forward of enjoying a fine table d’hôtes together with you. We exclusively use self-grown or regional products. We combine the delicious flavors of France with the freshly picked vegetables and fruits from our gardens and orchards. With the use of these amazing products, we can ensure you the best France has to offer.
About us
There is a popular Dutch expression that goes: “gewoon genieten.” It means to “simply enjoy life”. Surrounded with the idyllic French countryside, sharing our passion for gastronomy and hospitality in our chambres d’hôtes, we live out this life’s motto every day.
Over the years, we have always felt a collective longing to make use of our passions for cooking, regional products, sharing experiences and hospitality. We felt the urge to utilize our creativity and work with our hands in the garden and the kitchen. In the autumn of 2020 we decided to make our dream come true and start a beautiful chambres d’hôtes in the middle of France. With natural materials, decoration that mirrors the idyllic French ambiance and an abundance of love, we renovated our Maison de Maître and in June 2021 we opened Les Lauriers so we could share our life’s motto with you.
